Sunflower House is built

Even though I spent the better part of two days last week cleaning and running errands, I was still able to make good progress on Sunflower House. I just put the last stitches in the house itself this morning:

If all goes well I should be able to finish this in another week or so. It's actually been a bit strange to have no SAL parts to work on for over a week, though I'll be getting one this Thursday so I suppose that might affect when Sunflower House gets done--we'll see how this week goes.

Hope everyone has a great stitchy week!

    Especially on that blue fabric.

    1. I think it was the combination of the flosses on that pretty blue fabric that drew me towards this design; Blackbird Designs aren't my usual style but some of them are starting to appeal to me!

    1. The floss colors are really pretty with the fabric--I think that's why this design appealed to me, since I'm not a hardcore fan of BBD.

  3. How smart of you to leave the pretty flowers themselves for last!

    1. LOL! I always try to leave the best parts for last if I can--like when I was a kid and always ate the yuckiest stuff on my plate first to get it over with!
