Best colors ever!

I have stitched quite a few Mirabilia/Nora Corbett designs, and I have to say that Faerie Autumn Glow has to have my favorite combination of colors, yet! So rich and vibrant and happy--and I haven't even gotten to some of the brighter oranges in the lower dress:

I'm hoping to be able to work on her quite a bit this week, and then I'll be at the Door Co. stitching retreat this weekend, so hopefully she'll be done by early next week. Karen has sent the next model to be stitched, which is added incentive to finish this one up quickly!

I got a very exciting email from Judy Odell yesterday, saying that her busy season has passed and that she will be finishing my Pretty Little Things box in the next week or two. You can be sure that I will share her finish as soon as I have pictures!!

Hope everyone has a great stitchy week!

  5. Melanie, What an inspiring visit. Yes these colors are beautifully vibrant. I must tell you all this Mirabilia talk has prompted me to purchase a pattern to give a go at. I'm not allowing myself to be intimidated! Results such as yours are my motivation! PS Your grey kitty is the twin to my Mr. Kitty who is a Main Coon coming in at just under 20lbs! Have a lovely week ahead. Elizabeth

  6. Wow! I think I must pick up Faerie Autumn Glow now! What great colors! I see a bit of an eye in this pic. Did you design that yourself? I love the smaller designs she does, but I hate the fact they do not have a face, meaning eyes or nose or lips. If you designed a face, would it be possible to get a copy of that? I just started a new blog at stitcherista.blogspot.com if you want to check it out. I found your blog through the Mirabilia board on Facebook. LOVE! I am now a follower!
